Cloud Server

Using the Cloud server you can synchronize files, calendars, and contacts between your desktop, laptop, and mobile devices.

 App Passwords

Rather than using your main account password, the Could Server requires you to create App Passwords in order for external applications to access your data.

An app password is the only way to grant external apps access to your Cloud server account; the Cloud server will deny connections from apps attempting to use your W3C TAG account password.

If you’re going to use any cloud sync apps on your desktop and mobile devices, please follow:

 Desktop File Sync

The Nextcloud Desktop client allows you to sync files between the Cloud server and your desktop or laptop. It runs in the background, keeping your documents up to date.

You have complete control over which local folders you sync with folders on the server. Any file you add, modify or delete in the synced folders on your desktop or laptop will show up, change or disappear on the server and all other connected devices.

Right-click a file in your file manager and easily share it with other Cloud server users, a public link, or by email. Get notified of activities and events, like an incoming call, a comment on a file, or a new folder that has been shared with you.
