Mozilla Thunderbird

Mozilla Thunderbird is a free and open-source, cross-platform email client developed by the Mozilla Foundation. Thunderbird is available for all desktop platforms and also contains a calendar client.

Set Up Your Email Account In Thunderbird

  1. In Thunderbird, choose Account Settings from the Tools menu if you’re on Windows or macOS, or the Edit menu if you’re on Linux.

  2. Under Account Actions, choose Add Mail Account…

    Add a New Email Account
  3. Fill in your information (use your W3C TAG account password here).

    Click the Continue button.

  4. Thunderbird will automatically configure your incoming and outgoing email server settings.

    Done!

    If automatic configuration fails for some reason, you can click the Manual config button in the dialog above, and then follow the  Manual Setup instructions.

  5. Finally, click the Done button.
